President's Message
This year is our 15th year of celebrating ambitious, hard-working members of our FACCOC community whom we are honoring for their entrepreneurial spirits. For 15 years the FACCOC has been a source of support, knowledge and resources aiding in the progress of the businesses in the Orange County Filipino community. As we have all realized in the economically challenging past year, there is no substitute for hard work and the support of community in building business. I am very proud to be a part of the growth of the FACCOC this past year and I look forward with great anticipation to the coming year.
As your newly elected President, I am honored and grateful for the confidence you have given me to lead this organization to the next level of success. I commit to working hard for you AND with you, as we look toward a bright and prosperous year ahead.
My vision for this Chamber in 2010 is simple: to continue supporting the Filipino American business community while attracting more young entrepreneurs and community leaders to join us in our effort to serve. I look forward to working with you on new ideas, projects and initiatives that will be of value to those we touch. I see this Chamber as an arena for business people of all ages, to gain practical hands-on business exposure through networking mixers and educational programs we hold throughout the year.
As I begin my presidency, I am most appreciative of the work done by each Board Member. Our many dedicated members who have served in the past have built a wonderful foundation from which we will grow in the coming year. I am excited to continue to support young entrepreneurs with networking events and programs to help build local Filipino American businesses. I am particularly eager to lead our organization in becoming green to do our part toward a sustainable future in Orange County. We can each make a great difference working individually in our communities, but together we can have the greatest impact working as a community to support growth and prosperity in the FACCOC. Let’s make 2010 a wonderful year of progress, innovation and service!
