Para is a seasoned marketing and research professional with over 25 years of experience and direct involvement in launching innovative marketing programs and technology products for Fortune 100 companies including market research, marketing strategies, and product launches of the first ink jet printer and laptop in the United States for Toshiba and the first digital camera and multi-function copier/scanner/printer for Canon U.S.A. Para has traveled extensively directing numerous marketing and research projects to identify consumer preferences for marketing campaigns and products that ultimately became multi-million dollar successes. Prior to joining her husband in his construction contracting business, Para led the corporate market research department of KB Home, one of the top five residential real estate developers in the U.S.
In 2010, Para re-focused her career as a marketing professional advising start-up companies and aspiring entrepreneurs with strategic marketing and market research approaches. She co-founded G2G Catalysts, LLC, an integrated marketing consultancy with a singular goal of guiding clients from good to great with sound advice, appropriate recommendations and proper implementation of market research, brand and marketing strategies, online strategies as well as broadcast and print media services.
Her passion to help fellow Filipino-Americans steered her to become a social entrepreneur and business connector as she facilitates business between the Philippines and the U.S. She co-founded and is currently President of the Council on Trade and Investment for Filipino Americans (COTIFA). Para is on her seventh consecutive year serving as volunteer Board Member of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County (FACCOC) where she served as PR Officer, Secretary, President-elect and most recently, President in 2012. Para graduated from Pepperdine University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
