Can you play in a Golf Tournament without sight?

July 23, 2015 by Edwin Baloloy

For Alex Puno, being visually impaired doesn’t stop him from playing 18 holes this Friday.

FACCOC is teaming up with Blindstart of America tomorrow in it’s 5th Annual Golf Tournament in Irvine. Among one of Blindstart’s teams, is a player that is visually impaired.

Meet Alex Puno.

Do you think you can beat our blind golfer this Friday?
Do you think you can beat our blind golfer this Friday?

Alex is part of “Blindstart of America” and will be speaking during our dinner and awards immediately following the tournament. Since the tournament is a fundraiser, non golf players are encouraged to buy a “dinner only” ticket online and help support Blindstart. Dinner starts at about 5 PM.

If you play golf at any level, we still have room for individual players and your team! Sign up at a low rate and spend a relaxing afternoon on the grounds of Oak Creek Golf Club.
