Join us for our annual signature charity event! We’ve established this event in particular to give our members a way to give back to those in need, while at the same time providing a fun and entertaining way to bond as a community. We encourage all in our community to attend and enjoy. Part of the proceeds from the ticket sales and donations will go directly towards a charity organization.
This year our charity event benefits NEGU.org, an organization that fights childhood cancer. NEGU’s mission is to encourage every kid fighting cancer to “Never Ever Give Up!” NEGU is run by the Jessie Rees Foundation, in honor of twelve year old Jessie Rees, who in 2011 was diagnosed with cancer and decided three weeks later to help other kids that are fighting cancer. CBS News followed Jessie’s story. The first JoyJars are stuffed and the term “NEGU” (knee-goo) is born. Jessie passed away just under a year from her diagnosis. To learn more about NEGU, visit their website at NEGU.org
The FACCOC community – our members, sponsors and partners – did not disappoint and showed up ready to take in this valuable event experience.
FACCOC is a non-profit organization for Filipino-American entrepreneurs and professionals that is committed to promote domestic and international business interest for our members by providing a host of wide-ranging benefits, services, workshops and programs.
