Arnel Dino
Arnel Dino is the proud only son of Filipino immigrant parents, Eliodoro and Siony, Arnel graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Asian Pacific Studies and holds both a Professional Certificate in Grant and Proposal Preparation and a Professional Certificate in Financial Planning and Management for Nonprofit Organizations from Cal State Fullerton.
At a young age, Arnel was instilled with a high work ethic and desire to be involved in serving others. Throughout high school and college, he was constantly involved in activities and student leadership positions.
Arnel Dino is a development and fundraising professional with over 25 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, and campaigns with various nonprofit organizations and public agencies. In addition, to continuing running the family business of over 30 years.
He currently serves on the City of Fullerton Planning Commission and was previously an Economic Development Commissioner and on the city’s Infrastructure and Natural Resources Committee, which provided input into and reviewed annually the city’s Capital Improvement Program. He also served on the City’s Water Rate Subcommittee and led the Water Rate Dispute Panel. In his spare time, he volunteers with numerous organizations including sitting on the Boys and Girls Club of Fullerton Board as Secretary.
He has also served as Board Secretary for FACCOC and has the honor of being the longest serving Chamber Ambassador having been one of the first ambassadors since the program began.
